Why should I rent a Limo?

Safety is a big reason. For adults it’s a way to secure safety for yourself and any other passengers enjoying their outing. Teens may not want to be driven to a dance or prom by their parents. Birthday parties, wedding, anniversaries, retirements-(any special occasion is made extra-) special when you are transported in a luxurious limousine! Even just for the fun of enjoying a sporting event or concert with a group of friends all going together rather than taking individual cars to the same place.

 

What should I look for when choosing which Limo service?

One of the most important things to remember when choosing a Limo company is safety! Every transportation company has a federal safety this is public knowledge and can be viewed by anyone at FMCSA.gov. Read reviews made by people who have used the services and look for how many negative reviews or comments have been made (usually not on the website created by the company). When possible go and see the vehicle you’re interested in before you confirm your reservation.

 

How do I rent a limousine?

If you know the date of your event and the size of your party, give us a call and we’ll arrange the rest. We are fully staffed and answer all reservations calls from 8am-7pm Eastern. If our call is not answered immediately please leave a voicemail.  Once your reservation has been secured, you will receive a detailed confirmation email within minutes.

 

What is your service area?

Our primary service area is the Detroit metropolitan area but we provide ground transportation throughout Michigan and the surrounding states, as well. We also provide service throughout the country and internationally through our trusted affiliate network. Call our customer service department at 248-246-21112 for details and a rate quote.

 

How much does it cost?

The rare per hour varies, depending on the size of the limo (or the number of people it needs to accommodate), the number of hours you book the limo as well as when it is that you want it. So, in order to quote a price, we need to know the size of the limousine, the number of hours that you want it for and when it is you want it. We quote prices for the metro area, so if the pick up or drop off are outside the metro, please let us know.

 

What types of vehicles are in your fleet?

Can I personally view the limousines before I commit to your company?

Absolutely. We encourage our clients to visit our office and view any vehicle before securing their reservation. If you do not have time to visit our facility, we will glady provide you with ACTUAL photos of our limousines so that you can see exactly what you’ll be receiving from our company. 

 

How far in advance should I make a reservation?

We do our best to accommodate last minute requests but cannot guarantee immediate availability. We strongly recommend that you make a reservation at least 48 hours prior to pickup to ensure that you receive timely service and the vehicle of your choice. For weddings, we recommend booking 2-3 months prior to the wedding date.

 

Which types of payment are accepted?

We accept cash and all major credit cards. All balances must be fulfilled at least 24 hours prior to pickup. If you choose to pay cash, you may do so upon the arrival of your reserved vehicle. 

 

Can I bring alcohol into the vehicle?

Alcohol may be brought into our limousines or party buses by any individual of legal drinking age. Alcohol is not allowed in any sedan or non-stretch SUV because (legally) there must be a divider between the chauffeur and passengers. All vehicles are equipped with bottled water and ice.

 

Can I smoke in the Limo?

NO! We have a zero tolerance for smoking of any kind in any of our vehicles, but the chauffeur will be happy to pull over for a cigarette break in a safe location.

 

Do I require a deposit to confirm a reservation?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit is requires. The deposit goes towards the services and will only be non-refundable if the services are cancelled. For airport arrivals, if the cancellation is made within 24 hours the deposit will be refunded to allow for cancellation or flight delays. All deposits can be transferred within 30 days of cancellation for any future services.

 

What are the requirements to cancel a reservation?

Airport services can be changed or cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up or drop off time to avoid charges*. This allows ample time for any flight delays or cancellations that may have taken place. You must provide the name the reservation was placed under or the confirmation number provided at the time of the reservation. All other events MUST be cancelled within 30 days**.

  • **All other events canceled will lose any deposit provided at the time reservation was made. 

 

I’ve scheduled a reservation to be picked up at the airport, what should I do once I land?

Blue Diamond Limousine provides a convenient service in which an automated SMS text message containing your chauffeur’s name and mobile number will be sent to you upon your flight arrival. Our company also offers what is called  “Meet and Greet” service for all airport pickups. Please look for your driver at the baggage claim area, he/she will be holding a Blue Diamond Limousine sign with your name on it. Although the Meet & Greet is complimentary, there is a $10 parking fee for all domestic arrivals, and a $15 parking fee for international arrivals.

 

Does Blue Diamond Limousine provide free waiting time for airport pickups?

Yes. You will receive a 15 minute “grace period” for Domestic flights and 30 minutes for International flights. We check the arrival time with your airline, and change your order to reflect the new arrival time. Your free wait starts from that time. If it takes you longer to retrieve your luggage, or if you come out later than the allotted free waiting time, you will be charged accordingly. 

 

How will I know who my driver is and when they have arrived?

We provide the name and contact number f0or your driver to allow direct contact. For all airport pick-ups the driver will have a sign containing your name.

 

Are your services guaranteed?

Once a “Confirmation” email has been emailed with a reservation number, we guarantee your car will be waiting for you.
